In SSI, ECS20 has two discussion sections showing. One that I created (M 12:10-1:50) and shows in the left side course listing, but a second one shows on the calendar side that I did not create (M 2:10-4:50). Also, on the one I created, it's not listing Gysel, R. as the instructor, even though the instructor is there and it shows on the lecture activity. Same thing is happening on ECS30.

I believe the instructor bit is due to the somewhat confusing "preference confirmed" not being the same as "preference assigned." It's something we'll have to look into.

The abberent discussion section is a bug and we'll get it fixed.

Although I've seen this issue when you first submitted it, I can't reproduce anymore!

Did you happen to change that specific course? If so, do you know of any other course that is displaying wrong data on the calendar that I can use for debugging?

I think I figured this issue out. "old data" stays until you refresh the page. I was entering a new discussion for a course that had pre-populated info in there. Once I refreshed the page, the pre-populated data disappeared. Maybe we should add a "save" type button?? Even if I move to a different course or a different quarter, the pre-populated data stays. It doesn't disappear until I actually hit the refresh button.

Can you please walk through an example of stale data?

I can see that moving to a different term, the 'focused' state of the calendar does not reset, but the data is actually refreshed.

I just tried to recreate this issue in FQ16 and I wasn't able to. I'll let you know if I see it happening again.
