
Support Staff Comments
When support staff are requested to enter preferences for support calls, comments made by the support staff for each course are not visible to academic planners when viewing a support call "By Support Staff". For example, support staff one chooses Chem 124A and lists a justification in the preference comments, that information does not display. I ran into trouble with it saving the comments as well.

When do past quarters "close"
I noticed that in the 16-17 AY, the FQ and WQ data is "closed" so we can no longer make changes to these quarters. At what point does a particular quarter "close"?

I would be curious if this comes up again. Our thinking is perhaps we shouldn't have terms become un-editable when they close - we could simply flag that they're closed but continue to let departments organize their data.

overall like functions. Like how it lists all classes. Like how can Taylor address comments for. Pass. I did this on my phone and had some issues. I couldn't exit the class specific comment window and the right side got cut off. Also, removing a class from the list didn't actually remove it. Also, I couldn't shuffle the number preference of the classes on the phone. Overall, I like the options, the spaces to comments, the ability to update it, and the ability to comment. I also like there being no limit on number of classes to apply for.
Overall good with some tweaking requested. Ps- is the Ta assigning still handled by a human or is it all automated as a human can use and interpretation the data where the computer just relays it

IPA doesn't formally support mobile right now so your best bet is to use your laptop or desktop.

"update preferences" button
I entered all my preferences, then submitted them. When I edited them again, I selected "update preferences" but it didn't take me back to the summary page. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be the case?

Courses entered for 2016-2017 should populate into 2017-2018 when downloading from search each year.

We're currently tracking a feature to add in the near(ish) future that will let you import an old IPA schedule into a new one.
In the meantime, you can somewhat work around this problem by using the 'mass import from Banner' option in the Courses page toolbar to mass add courses of a certain subject code from a previous academic year.

Workgroup role table header should follow on scroll
Requested by Tracy Lade:
"When we have a long list of instructors and TAs it can be a long scroll back to the top to see which checkbox is which role. Make the role for each column visible at the bottom of the screen, or while scrolling down."

Ability for an academic coordinator to fill out a teaching call form
Note that this idea is separate from being able to simply make assignments. This would allow the Academic Coordinator to fill out the preferences themselves.

Ability to turn off certain columns in the Schedule Summary Report
This is somewhat low priority as the report supports downloading as Excel, where the columns can then be deleted.
